The Pinkletoes Experience ~ winnipeg family photographer

For about 2 years I have been part of an online community called Pinkletoes 4 Photographers or PT4P for short. It was started by Michele Anderson of Pinkletoes Photography as a members only photography resource site which quickly blossomed into this amazing forum filled with talented, inspiring, helpful women (and a few men!). When Michele decided last year to host a few workshops to PT4P members only I *knew* I had to get there. Michele’s photographic style speaks to me in a way only a handful of photographers do. Her work is bright, fun and colourful. But more important it is soulful, meaningful and…authentic. And she is as authentic as her work. There are no airs about her. She is honest and matter of fact about the things she is sure of. She is funny and warm and always ready to give a hug. I don’t think I could count how many hugs were given out in those 3 days. To us, to her clients, her children. Her workshop talked about facts, technique and numbers, but what I saw most and learned the most ,was heart. Which is exactly what I needed right now and what I’d hoped for.

Another huge plus for me was the other attendees I’d get to meet. Some I’d “known” online for a couple of years, the rest got to know a bit beforehand chatting on FaceBook. There is something about a group of women coming together to eat, breath and sleep (well very little sleep actually, lol) your passion that brings you closer together. I hope I can call these women my friends years from now. Thanks girls, you truly made this experience wonderful for me. And thank you Michele for bring us into your home and sharing your knowledge, your passion and your heart with us. XOXO

These are just a handful of the shots taken in Austin. Behind the scenes, at shoots set up by Michele, in her studio, at her client’s home and in the heart of Austin.

Please check out the other attendees of the workshop! Leah Cook Photography, Jennifer Cusimano Photography, Heidi Drexler Photography, Johanna Sophia Photography, Carla of Moxie Shots Photography, Janie Jones Photography & Brandi Smith. They are some talented women!

Thanks for looking!
