[appendix]
noun Anatomy,
| a narrow, blind tube protruding from the cecum, having no known useful function, in humans being 3 to 4 in. (8 to 10 cm) long and situated in the lower right-hand part of the abdomen. |
For something SO small and SO useless, it sure has turned our lives upside-down!!
My oldest daughter had a ruptured appendix this weekend that took 2 days to diagnose and she finally had surgery on Monday evening.
She’s starting to feel a bit better now but will probably be in the hospital through the weekend.
My husband and I are not quite sure how we would have managed this without such great family and friends. Thanks so much everyone, especially our parents who have been at our house looking after the other two girls and the dog!!
Needless to say this has disrupted my work schedule. If you are waiting for galleries, prints, design work or just for me to respond to you, please be aware I will not be “in office” until later next week as I try to catch up.
Thank you so much for your patience!
~Carol
