I have a confession to make.

I love them both equally. I could never choose one over the other. I would never want to hurt the others feeling;)

It’s like trying to choose your favorite child. Impossible.

OK I don’t normally spend my time taking pics of myself and my favorite foods, lol! This is for a contest held by Two Photogs that I just found out about TODAY!! So I quick dugout my secret stash. I couldn’t even hide it from my daughter so now I need a new hiding place!!

Now it’s your turn…what’s your secret indulgence??? Leave me a comment telling me what yours is and you will be entered  to win a gift card from Starbucks, which by the way is my second secret indulgence. Shhhhh, don’t tell my husband!!!

Thanks for looking!

I love meeting these new little people and being able to see the resemblance between their moms and dads. This little boy was definitely the spitting image of his daddy.

We really tried to get this session earlier. But after a stay in the hospital for them and me and my kids being sick it just wasn’t in the cards. So we decided to just get what we could get whenever we could get it. At 8 weeks old these little girls were alot older that most of my newborns. They were 6 weeks early though but that didn’t seem to make the session easier, lol!

Every time we had them asleep, and put them down they would wake up.  I ‘m sure mom and dad will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome though. They are beautiful babies!

Is it Wednesday already?? I almost missed today because I thought it was Tuesday!

Anyone wanna go to a tea party??

Meet Patricia from Steeped Tea.

Name: Patricia
AKA: supreme of http://littlesruletheroost.blogspot.com

Hails from: Small town, Southern Manitoba

Name of your business: Steeped Tea www.steepedtea.com

When was your business born? Steeped Tea started in Ontario in 2007

Why did you start your business? What inspires you? In this era of high  speed go-go-go- living, we all need to take the time to slow down,
relax and appreciate the blessings that we have. What better way to do
that than to sip on a delicious cup of tea? I love tea.

What does you business offer? We offer a friends and family a chance
to get together and sample fine loose teas in the cozy comfort of
their own homes.

Where do you see your business in the future? I see my business
continuing to grow. Business has been brisk so far and I look forward
to the future.

How do you balance work/family? That’s a tough one! My family comes
first and the business is definitely second. I admit that sometimes I
forget where my priorities  are. It doesn’t take long however to
remember why it is I left the 9-5 rat race to be  a stay at home mom.
Steeped Tea allows me to work as much or a little as I want depending
on the needs of my family.

Now for a few “fun” questions.

Skills: Multi taking – what mom can’t juggle 95 things at once?? Haha!!

Challenges: Trying to remember to enjoying the little moments shared
with my children. They grow too fast.

Chips or chocolate? Depends on the day… Lately it has been chocolate.

Secret weapon: Ability to my husbands mind! Haha!

Enemies/pet peeves: Bad drivers, people who don’t “parent” their
children and let them run wild, the way my husband loads the dishwasher!

Can’t live without: my husband, my kids, my internet

 Heroes: my dad and mom

Little known fact about you: I don’t really know what I am doing, I am
just making it up along the way!

December 2.

We finally got snow, 23 days til Christmas (I actually started shopping! not usual for me!) and 30 days til the year 2010.

This time of year always has me thinking about changes I need to make to my business. Seems like a good time to make a fresh start.

I am so excited for this 3rd year of business if it is anything like last year. I met amazing kids and their families and got to snuggle many gorgeous babies. I hope for more of the same!

I just want to let you all in on a few things that will be going on around here in the new year.

I was reminded yesterday about my pet gallery that hasn’t been announced yet. Bad me! I kinda forgot about it. It will be going up for sure! I’ve chosen the name and I will get that up before January.

I will be making some much needed changes to my website. I haven’t updated my galleries in so long, so that is in the works for the new year. When it’s announced look for one of your images ! If I use it and you send me an e-mail I’ll send you a 5×7 print of that image!

I’ll be at the Winnipeg Baby and Kids Show again this February. I had so much fun last year meeting many new clients. If you’re there, come by and say hello! Check out their new website. It is super cute and reminds me of another website I know of;) you may even recognise a few of the images there!

Look for quarterly newsletters this year! This will be the first place I announce all specials and promotions so make sure you sign up to get the info first!

I will also be starting the pic pick of the month. Every month I will choose my favorite image from the sessions from that month. Then, next January YOU get to decide which is the best one. The winner will receive an 11×14 canvas of that image AND a $150 gift card for their next session. You can’t win if you don’t have a session booked! So send me an email to book yours!

Look for complimentary*(with reserved newborn session) mini maternity sessions this spring! I will have a couple dates available at some fun locations in Winnipeg. If you are expecting this May/June contact me for these limited sessions! (should be 32-36 weeks)

Pheeww! I think that’s it!

Now, of course, I need to post a picture! This is not a sneak peek as they have received their gallery but I didn’t have a chance to share. Love when I get to photograph older children. I don’t have to run around so much!
